The entirebooking process was wonderful. The property was beautiful, clean, and well-stocked. It would have been nice to have towels for the pool since we did not have any extra towels and had to use our shower towels at the pool. Stunning location and perfect litte town

We had an amazing time with our family at the villa. Everything was as described and pictured... perfect! Our children all loved the pool and were able to roam the grounds without disturbing any neighbors. We took day trips to Florence, Pisa, Sienna, and some of the small surrounding hilltop towns. It does take about 10 minutes to get into Popi... windy small roads. But we managed to make it for gelato every day! Gigi was so hospitable. We would love to return one day.

Wow what a great vacation villa! Our family traveled in June of 2010. We were a party of 10 with ages ranging from 6 to 77. After a long internet search (30-40 hours) we found Maesta. If you're looking for an authentic Tuscan vacation villa...there is no need to duplicate our search. Here is what we wanted in a property: A place that was felt like a Tuscan villa, not a page out of a magazine (don't get me wrong this place is authentic and beautiful, just not uptight); Lots of room and private space; great pool; walking distace to a "real" Tuscan town and centrally located to all major Tuscan cities. Maesta filled all our needs and more. The villa is a beautiful 15th century building that is decorated with authentic tuscan antiques. The bedrooms can be broken out into suites for families and are large and really comfortable (villa's only negative - the kitchen appliances are a little dated, but serve their purpose). The grounds are large (plenty of privacy) and filled with olive trees, herbs and interesting plantings...picture lightly manicured and natural. The pool area is beautiful! Pergine Valdarno is a wonderful little town with lots of friendly faces. Great little stores (Grocery, produce, cafe, bar, gift shop and a wonderful butcher shop). The town's restaurant is awesome! Family owned with homecooked local fare and tasty pizzas. We went several times and had them make a cake for my daughters birthday...delicious! Lastly and most importantly, Maesta's owners Alessandra and Massimo were wonderful. They were responsive to any needs we had and treated us more like friends than guests. They were also great with tips on what to do in Tuscany, and cooked us a fantastic meal! When we left, it was hugs and kisses and a vow to return...we really didn't want to leave. Thanks Alessandra and Massimo for a great vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay in the villa Il Belborgo. The property lived up to our expectations. The house was well equipped and was ideal for a group of 18 persons. The location was ideal for visiting Florence. The service was friendly and positive though the man who welcomed us did not speak English. But where there is a will there is a way. We had a delicious Tuscany menu on the first evening in the villa. This arrangement is really recommendable. The agency is always ready to help with any question you might have. The sun was shining the whole week of our stay in Tuscany - so nothing to complain about.

We had a perfect holliday in Villa Duchessa. We were 13 persons, three couple, two single and 5 kids and had room enough. The garden and the pool served us perfectly. We did enjoy the presence of Mrs Flora, who was helpfull and a very nice person. She did invite my mother to have an expresso in her garden and the two ladies had a nice chat without any language to share. The house seemed to be younger on the fotos, but actually we did like the reality more.

Our group had a very plesent stay at Due Ville in June. The property is very nice and the location is perfect with at fantastic veiw to Subbiano. The owner/staff is very, very helpful and we will once again thank you for fixing 3 nights with private cooks making the most fantastic tuscan cusine.
