Our holiday was three years in the making - well worth the planning. The villa was the perfect location to come together as a family. The children loved the pool and running wild in the property. Day trips to Cortona, Siena and Firenze wonderful. Gigi - thank you for beeing such a gracious host.

Villa Rossanne exceeded all our expectations. The villa was spacious and spotless, with comfortable beds, great kitchen, and beautiful decor. However, the terrace and surrounding areas were the highlights...the views were spectacular, beyond belief, and the pool a wonderful refreshing treat after our daily treks. San Gimignano is a beautiful town, magical at night. We spent many happy hours on our terrace watching the sunrise, sunset, changing light over the olive groves and vineyards. Spectacular!
Le Vecchie Mura - great restaurant in San Gimignano with panoramic terrace - make reservations two days in advance and ask for "front view" on the terrace. Well worth it, with great local specialties (boar, saffron, pesto).

We loved the Villa. It was beautiful: the villa was very well appointed and in an incredible setting. The views were fantastic. The people who managed the property were very kind and gave us our privacy. We had a very nice trip and hope to return again.
Try Ristoro Lamole. Very nice restaurant at the top of a neighboring hill town. The best way to get there is just to continue on the main dirt road that runs from Panzano (skiping the left turns that take you to the villa). You will see the signs to Lamole.
Dealing with us as an agency what did you miss what can be done better? The agency did a very nice job. It was responsive and helped us along the way when we needed it. I was grateful for the advice from Sabine. I have used the agency before and would use it again. The website is very easy to navigate and very accurate.

We appreciated the breathtaking view, the lovely pool, the outdoor dining areas, the stunning garden, the cool indoor sitting areas, and the Tuscan meals that were prepared for us (twice)by the helpful, friendly owners.
Pistoia is very interesting, not touristy, has good restaurants, and is nearby. Take the "Underground Pistoia" tour from the hospital. Pistoia stays open late (til midnight) on Thursdays and has music, nightlife on that day. Lucca is beautiful. The villa is also convenientt for Florence.
What did you like on our website www.tuscany-villas.com ? This is the second time we've used your website and would certainly do so again. We like the search choices (because we're a large group and always want a pool). The staff are always helpful an respond immediately.

The villa was wonderful, more than we expected. It was very spacious and large enough for 8 people to live very comfortably together. We loved the location, close enough to walk to Stia..the kitchens were great as was the pool. The ower Lucia and her family are very attentive to guests. They picked up two of our party at the train station and retrieved lost luggage for another in our group. We decided to have dinner cooked by Lucia ann her friend Manuella. It was absolutley wonderful and we would recommend this to all who stay at the villa. The town of Stia is sweet and even though we speak little Italian it was not a problem for us.
Yes, we enjoyed several of the local restaruants in Stia. We ventured into Florence by bus for the day, would recommend although a long trip about 2 hours. Try the gelati in Stia, it was the best that we had the entire time in Italy (also went to Rome,Sorrento and Capri).

The house and grounds were just as expected-- wonderful! Bruna, the owner/caretaker was on site as she lived in the apartment on our first floor. She was friendly and greeted us daily-- on our second night she brought us a wonderful cake after dinner on our patio and towards the end of our stay she made a tiramisu for all the visitors to share. The swimming pool was clean and refreshing after a hot days' excursion!
ADVICES: Day trips should be done to Cortona, Deruta, Voterra, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Siena, San Giaminagno. Florence and Lucca are too far for just a day-- plan to stay a night or more. "Twilight fans" don't expect too much of Volterra or where it was actually filmed-- no fountain that Bella crossed.

I thought it was amazing, and total exceeded our expectations. The house and the hospitality were exceptional.
What could be done better? Nothing, it was wonderful.
Do you have some advices for other visitors?? The restaurant up at the main house, and the pizza place next door are both wonderful, and a great reason not to cook at home.

Setting great, view fab. Very nice that there was soap and things in the kitchen so we didn't have to buy lots of stuff that we only use very little of. We liked the homely atmosphere.
