Wedding in a very elegant winery close to PISA

In front of the main villa there is a wide “terracotta” (local fired bricks) open terrace overlooking the vineyards. The villa offers a charming common room where is located the Reception and a comfortable living room where people can meet for a chat with friends in the evening.

The villa hosts up to 14 guests sleeping in 4 independent apartments. On each side of the villa there is a freestanding cottage, the old haylofts, completely renovated just like the main villa, which hold both together other 14 people. All together they make a complex which sleeps up to 28 people plus there are alternatives to host some extra guests if necessary. There are up to 5 comfortable sleeping places in sofa beds and an extra apartment that can be used upon request for a total of 36 people.

For the wedding reception, there are many solutions in or outdoors. In the open terrace in front of the main villa is possible to organize the appetizers or if you prefer, set the dining tables. Otherwise, the appetizer can be arranged around the magnificent swimming pool, while the dinner can be organized in the open terrace or, depending on the weather and of your preferences, in the cellar which now is a specific room for dinners and receptions, located under the terrace. The capacity for the wedding dinner is max. 50 guests.

This room can be reached from the main villa by two beautiful stone staircases from the both sides of the garden that surrounds the villa. The room has direct access from the garden below, overlooking the swimming pool area, which is one level down in front of the garden. Beyond the swimming pool and all around all what you see are vineyards.

You and your guests will be able to taste and to purchase their locally produced wine, that can be ordered for the wedding reception. Besides you will have the chance to have a tour in the winery and understand how this special Chianti wine and “Supertuscans” are made. Their wine cellars are right there.

For the Catholic ceremony, there are many local churches close by, come of them are private chapels, so it is necessary to book in advance. If your are not Catholic but can arrange your own religious ceremony, it is possible to make it at Casalone. In Italy, the religious ceremony can be made wherever you want, but the civil marriage must be made in the Town Hall. The closest Town Hall is Crespina, a few kilometres from the estate.
