A truly unique holiday home rental, this fully functional grain mill offers a beautiful two floor home right next door to the owner. Directly above the mill itself - which is only used for education purposes - sits the Tuscan vacation home divided into two floors. The villa rental is next to the owners - and offers your own immense garden area filled with flowers and colors. There is a little pond in the middle of the yard filled by a underground souce where you can cool off after playing in the Tuscun sun - or you can program picnics using the large BBQ and super covered terrace.
You enter into the vacation home rental through a beautiful stone stairwell which goes above the natural stream that powers the mill when in action. The front entrance opens to a large eat-in kitchen with fireplace. There is a separate living room equipped with SAT TV and a VCR. There is a double bedroom on the first floor.
Up the stairs to the second floor you will find one full size bathroom and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed and the other is perfect for children with four single beds in bunk bed style. The second bathroom is located on the ground floor near the garden area - so you don`t need to run up and down the stairs all the time!

What you do not expect is to find a family so helpful, so friendly and so thoughtful as the Bardelli family. They made our short stay totally memorable and completely relaxing. We didn't want to leave! The local restaurant of the same name - Il Mulino has exellent food and friendly service. |

Siamo ritornati in germania, pensando spesso alle nostre vacanze indimenticabile in Mulino del Bonano.Vi vogliamo ringraziare molto per: il gentile ricevimento, la visita sul mulino, la grappa e il vino e sopratutto per la sorpresa prima di partire. Appena ci godiamo il vino, quarderemo le foto, mangeremo la polenta e sognamo della Toskana. Il cestino é nel nostro sogiorno e ci fa pensare alle due settimane bellissime e rilassante, con tanto sole. Vi auguriamo tante belle cose e tanti saluti dalla foresta nera da Leonore |
| Ostfildern, Deutschland, POSTED: 30/05/2008 Wer Natur liebt ist mit Kindern genau richtig. Das Gelände welches zum Haus gehört ist ein Traum und habe ich so noch nie gesehen. Mit zwei Familien ist es ideal. Die Besitzer sind super freudlich und es ist nicht zu bemerken, dass diese im Anbau der Mühle wohnen.
Einkaufen: Kleiner Laden in Talla in dem man das meiste bekommt. Grosses Einkaufszentraum in Bibbiena.
Ausflüge: Bibbiena (schönes Zentrum auf dem Berg) und Poppi (Burg und Zentrum) sind unbedingt zu empfehlen, da beides auch sehr nahe ist.
Gastronomie: Das kleine Restaurant in Talla bietet zu günstigen Preisen eine ansprechende Küche in einem netten Ambiente |

Es ist sehr ruhig und im Sommer spendet das Haus bestimmt angenehme Kühle. Die Eigentümer waren sehr freundlich und der Sohn hat für uns extra zwei Fische aus dem Fischteich gefischt. |

Pool sauber, riesiger Park,für Familien mit Kindern ist es ideal.Etwas abgelegen, also für ganz ruhige und entspannte Ferien. Uns allen hat es sehr gefallen. Es war für uns ein bisschen schade, dass wir nicht besser Italienisch oder Englisch konnten, da die Hausverwaltung nur diese Sprachen konnten.Wir wären gerne mit Ihnen noch mehr ins Gespräch gekommen. Es sind ganz zuvorkommende Leute gewesen. Darum wäre es von Vorteil wenn man Italienisch oder Englisch könnte. |
