| Beaconsfield, England, POSTED: 27/08/2008 The villa was lovely and Clara was very friendly. It was perfectly placed to explore Tuscany. Arezzo was very pretty and only a mile away, with lots of good restaurants. We caught a train to Florence which took 40 minutes and the station was within easy walking distance of the main sights ( Duomo, Ponto Vecchio etc; truly impressive). We drove to Sienna, again an easy journey and parking was straight forward. Another beautiful city. Pisa is also fun, the children enjoyed the Leaning Tower there.Tuscany is breathtakingly beautiful, with wonderful weather and great scenery. It is so clean and welcoming to tourists. A great holiday. We enjoyed it enormously. The villa was beautiful and very private. However, the mosquitos were a bit if a problem. We bought some outdoor mosquito spray and sprayed the indoors regularly too, particularly the bedrooms. However, that comes with the territory. We would definitly recommend the holiday and the villa. Very relaxing, with inspiring countryside and amazing art in the cities. Bella Italia! |
| Walenstadt, Schweiz, POSTED: 18/08/2008 Alles war positiv!!! Die Lage ist einfach phantastisch. |
| Morristown, USA, POSTED: 26/07/2008 The villa was wonderful and the host family was friendly and welcoming. |
| Scottsdale, United States, POSTED: 05/06/2008 Clara is wonderful and it is beautiful inside and out. She made us a wonderful dinner. |
| Knoxville, USA, POSTED: 30/05/2008 You will not be disappointed in Villa Clara. It is even more beautiful than the pictures. The gardens are spectacular and well kept. The house itself is nicely furnished and cozy. The bedrooms are, 2 on the first floor with two extremely nice full baths. The remaining two bedrooms and two more baths are on the third floor so it is quite a hike for anyone with any physical limitations. The good news is the more walking up and down steps you do, the more you can eat during your stay. Be sure not to miss having Clara cook for you while you are there. She is an excellent cook and the courses just keep arriving. I would suggest not waiting until your last day because there will be enough leftovers to last another day or two. The views of the surrounding area are nearly as spectacular as the villa itself. You feel very secluded and peaceful. Must sees include; Assisi, Florence, San Gimignano and Greve in Chianti. Arezzo was a little disappointing. It is large, more modern than ancient and a little difficult to find your way around in and park. |

| Salt Lake City, USA, POSTED: 08/08/2007 The swimming pool and grounds were awesome. Arezzo was a great launching points for Florence and the many hilltop towns in the area. |
Hambeldon, UK, POSTED: 24/07/2007 Clara (the owner) pointed us in the direction of some excellent restaurants in Arezzo which all provided us with a great time in the evenings. We did a lot of sightseeing ane would highly recommend using the train to Florence and Rome. Also look out for the various evening entertainments around. There was outdoor music and entertainment in Arezzo every night during our stay in the amphitheatre(classical music, jazz and folk)- all free of charge. The villa is absolutely beautiful, very well fitted out and much loved and cared for. The site is very secure and the grounds are well tended. Clara herself could not have been more helpful. It is the absolutely perfect spot for exploring Eastern Tuscany and its proximty to Arezzo was a real plus in respect of our teenagers - shopping and the bars being at the top of their priority list. Overall this is one of the most successful holidays we have had and, unusually for us, is somewhere we would definitely visit again. |
| New-Maryland, Canada, POSTED: 30/05/2007 If arriving late Saturday, guests may want to pick groceries on their way to the Villa. Grocery stores are closed on Sunday. We highly recommend this villa -- it is most spacious; clean and comfortable. Surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Hostess Clara is helpful and a superb cook. She is discreet but there for you when you need her. Location allows for day trips. Great place! |
Marion, USA, POSTED: 22/10/2006 Restaurant Chez Vous Absolutely beautiful! What a wonderful home. |
Mineola, USA, POSTED: 22/10/2006 Relax and enjoy the beauty of V.Clara! Venture out to Montelcino or Montepulciano(BEWARE!! don't bother getting anything at ABRACADABRA in Montepulciano unless you want your money and merchandise to disappear like the name implies) On your way stop at Rababara in Chianchiano for amazing fresh Tuscan food and fantastic friendly service by the staff and Owner Massimiliano. Assisi is a must religious experience. Clara was wonderful. The meal she cooked on our last evening in Tuscany was delicious and beyond our expectations! Do yourself a favor and experience Clara's cooking and fine hospitality! |
| Escondido, USA, POSTED: 22/10/2006 The villa was great, and not to far a drive from all of Tuscany |
| METAIRIE, USA, POSTED: 22/10/2006 CLARA IS VERY NICE. WE ENJOYED THE VILLA VERY MUCH AND WOULD STAY AGAIN. |
Hermosa Beach, USA, POSTED: 02/10/2005 The town of Arezzo is charming and very easy to get around in. All desireable amenitites can be found here and the town is close...but not too close...to the villa. Arezzo is very central to the prime sites in Tuscany and makes for easy day trips. The villa is fantastic and, as nice as the pictures on the web site are, really don't do justice to the beauty and serenity of Villa Clara. The furnishings are wonderfull and really much nicer than one might expect in a rental property. Clara, the proprietor is charming and very helpfull. |
| Sumter, USA, POSTED: 02/06/2005 Property beautiful and owner very helpful. |
