Rich with local history this estate in Tuscany is a splendid example of the struggle for power played out between the various ages here between Florence and Pisa. This lovely rental home was once one of the many from the Buonaparte family of San Minato dating back to the mid 1600's. The present day owner has restored the Tuscan villa rental and furnished it in a classical yet comfortable style - perfect for relaxing and enjoying company of friends and family. This spacious 4 bedroom, 3 bath villa rental is decorated with charm and elegance.
Equal distance to both the Florence and the Pisa airport, this Italian villa is perfect for a spur of the moment vacation!
NEW: the villa offers wireless internet connection from March 2008!!

Vista, USA, POSTED: 08/06/2008 What an outstanding place Tuscany is! Even though it rained a little bit, the weather was great. Mild and perfect for sightseeing all the lush, green Tuscan landscape. The villa was beautiful - right on top of a hill with a great view of the valley. And so comfortable too. Lots of space inside. Maria was a very charming and accomodating hostess.
Portland, USA, POSTED: 28/05/2008 I would recommend this villa to any traveler. The views were spectacular, the owner (Maria) most accomodating, and we loved the huge fireplace in the kitchen. San Miniato is easily accessible to Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena and all points in-between. What a great place to relax after a hectic day of sightseeing. I used a GPS which was invaluable!
Camberley, UK, POSTED: 15/08/2007 Ideally situated for visiting most sights in Tuscany: Firenze, Pisa, Lucca, Sienna, and San Gimignano all within less than an hour's drive. The pool was excellent. The terrace to the front of the house provided shade and picturesque views throughout the day. The owner, Signora P. and family were very welcoming and extremely helpful (especially when locked out of the house!)PAM minimarket in Montaione is the most easily accessed supermarket; 10 minutes drive from the house. Villa da Filicaja vinyard just past Montaione for excellent quality and priced wine and olive oil.
Moers, Deutschland, POSTED: 27/06/2007 Im Dorf San Miniato kann man im Ristorante Pepenero auf einer schönen Terasse mit wunderbaren Blick ins Tal sitzen und dabei noch das gute Essen genießen; innen (für kühlere Tage) ist das Lokal sehr modern gestaltet "designed". Guter Standort für verschiedene Ausflüge (Städte etc.); wunderbare Ausblick, schöne Lage, gepflegter Pool, angenehmer Service; große Auswahl von unterschiedlichen Restaurants mit großer Vielfalt, Abwechslung (von einfacher, lokaler bis zur gehobenen und anspruchsvolleren Küche);
Cambridge, USA, POSTED: 10/05/2007 A wonderful restaurant Colle Brunacchi, country fare in a beautiful setting, is ten minutes by car. The villa and surroundings are lovely, peaceful. The house is very tastefully and practically furnished. The owner was most helpful and pleasant. If you want to be away from tourists in a country village, this is perfect.

The price was very reasonable and everyone in our group was very pleased and felt we had really been lucky to find such a good spot.
It was perfect for 3 couples and we found it very comfortable and relaxing. |
