| Harpenden, UK, POSTED: 09/08/2008 Concetta and Paulo are charming hosts. The pool and the view from the pool (and house) are magnificent. We had an excellent and relaxing holiday. |
| Eisenach, Deutschland, POSTED: 26/07/2008 Super Lage, Ruhe, unaufdringliche Vermieter, sehenswerter Ort, top Weingut in der Nähe! |
| Downers Grove, USA, POSTED: 27/06/2008 The pool was very nice and the views from the villa were great--just like the pictures. The villa has nice outdoor space and tables on the terrace and under a pergola for enjoying the scenery. Pauolo and Concetta were nice, gave us some information about the area--left us alone but available if needed. Beds in two of the bedrooms were firm and comfortable. There is a washer on the premises for renters use and came in handy--plenty of line space for hanging clothes out. Nice private setting---great place for a getaway.Concetta gave us two recommendations for restaurants. We especially liked Focalare--not sure of the spelling (the convent) We found a nice restaurant on a back street in San G and a pretty bad one on the main street there. We cooked one dinner at the villa and found everything we needed in the way of pots, utensils, dishes. |
| Mühlheim am Main, Deutschland, POSTED: 24/06/2008 The villa is located in an amazing surrounding with a superb view. The spot is quiet and peaceful but yet only 5min from San Gimignano. The private pool is fantastic. Concetta and Paolo are lovely and very welcoming hosts. They prepared delicious meals for us. The villa is very conveniently located for all day trips throughout Tuscany. We would highly recommend it.
We very much enjoyed our stay and will surely come again.

| Kelowna, Canada, POSTED: 30/09/2007 Concetta and Paolo cooked a wonderful meal for our group each week, and were great hosts. The villa was very well maintained and the pool was cleaned regularly. When renting the complete villa, there are two kitchen areas with a refrigerator in each which is useful. Wine was provided at a reasonable cost. The owners, Concetta and Paolo, recommended some great restaurants and made reservations for us. They also recommended places to visit and pointed us to the easiest place to park for visiting San Gimignano. |
| Newtown, USA, POSTED: 16/08/2007 Concetta and Paolo were very friendly and helpful, good hosts and excellent cooks. We would love to return. The villa was outstanding and the surrounding town enjoyable. |
| Wiener Neustadt, Österreich, POSTED: 19/06/2007 Das Haus und das Pool sind ein Traum, die Vermieter supernett - der perfekte Urlaub!!! Alles perfekt! Am Haus gibt eis keine Kritikpunkte |
Bremerton, USA, POSTED: 22/10/2006 Great, central location for seeing the Tuscany region. The owners, Concetta and Paolo, were wonderful hosts. The "house wine" that is available for purchase, both white and red, was fabulous. I would highly recommend this vila as it was a great central location, beautiful setting and a fabulous pool. |
| Frankfurt(Oder), Deutschland, POSTED: 08/08/2006 Eine einmalig schöne Lage, mit dem Blick auf San Gimignano, sehr nette Verwalter, super. |
ashalnd, usa, POSTED: 15/07/2006 Owners made several resaurant suggestions, all were good. Owners were present, but not in the least intrusive, in fact very interesting couple. Was very hot during our stay, one bedroom does not get as much breeze as other two. The views at night from two bedrooms are spectacular. Perfect location for visiting area, but close enough to San Gimignano to make getting into city easy and fun, even just for an ice cream. Market day was a must on Wednesday. We did not eat any meals except breakfast and one lunch at the villa, for those meals the outfitting of kitchen was perfect. They had plenty of pots and even a mezzaluna! we're in Italy!! - so I am sure dinners would have been no problem. I personally liked La Mura Vecchia, in San Gimignano, for the view, but seriously never had a bad meal anywhere. Wonderful family run ( Cetti family), samll winery/olive grove down the street, tasted wines and oil and bought some. Saw some of the last Vernazza being bottled from last harvest. Owners of Il Pozzo make their own wine, olive oil, vin santo and honey, as well, which were all good. Also many bottles of local wines stocked in house for use and sale, nice touch. Having a washing machine was a big plus. |
