| Schwanenstadt, Austria, POSTED: 18/08/2008 Der gesamte Urlaub entsprach mehr als unseren Erwartungen.Der Empfang durch die Vermieter (sogar mit einem hausgemachten italienischen Kuchen)war sehr herzlich ebenso wie die weitere "Betreuung", es war aber stets alles unaufdringlich. Die Lage des Anwesens ist perfekt. Ruhe und Erholung mit Blick auf die Weinberge und Olivenhaine ist ebenso bestens möglich wie die durch die naheliegende Auffahrt zur Autostrada gegebenen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Die Poolanlage samt Liegen und Sonnenschirmen ist wunderschön, höchste Qualität und liebevoll gepflegt. Für uns war es schlicht der perfekte Urlaub! Wir waren schon länger auf der Suche nach einem derartigen Wohlfühlambiente im Urlaub - jetzt haben wir es gefunden! |

The owners speak excellant English and were very friendly, welcoming and full of helpful advice.Volterra and San Gimignano were excellant, and worth the drive. Near to the villa (15mins drive)is Badia a Passignano, a small medieval village with an excellant Restaurant L'Antia overlooking the vineyards. Worth you also pointing out that the nearest supermarket is in Tavernelle, but that no supermarkets accept Credit Cards. |
| Orlando, USA, POSTED: 16/06/2008 Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Mini Market just down the street. La Fattoria Ristorante just down the road and excellent food. Tavernelle Val de Pesa quaint little town 10 minutes away where you can do laundry and buy what you may need. Wonderful apartment, very well appointed and equipped. Lillia and Gianni are outstanding landlords. Extremely friendly and accomodating. The apartment was even better than the pictures. |

They have excellent latte & espresso, as well as wonderful pastries!!! La Frattoria near the property is an excellent rustic restaurant as well. Lilia & Johnny are amazing people, very warm & friendly. We felt very welcome and at home with them. They were also a tremendous resource about places to visit in the area. There was nothing I would change about the week we had there. The hosts made it an unforgettable vacation and one we hope to repeat again. We would definitely stay at Poggio Sole. It was also an easy location off the Autostrada and made traveling the area very convenient. |
| Willington, USA, POSTED: 04/01/2008 This was the perfect location to be able to get on and off the motorway to sightsee around Tuscany....you had the feeling of being in wine country at the villa but the ease of being close to the main roads. The villa was very nice, comfortable and charming...our hosts were absolutely wonderful and friendly...giving us many suggestions for places to see and restaurants to go to. We would definitely return to stay at this villa. No concerns at all....everything was perfect! |

| Oakville, Canada, POSTED: 28/07/2007 This location was incredibly central, 20 minutes to Sienna, 15 minutes to Florence and if you wanted to wander the backroads, hours of pleasure to be had, with plenty of village cafes, bars and churches to visit. Our hosts were inviting and provided us the perfect mixture of interest and privacy. We loved every minute of our visit and hope to return in the future. The villa was even more wonderful than the pictures portrayed! We woudl recommend POGGIO SOLE to friends and family without hesitation |

Man findet hier Ruhe und Ursprünglichkeit, ist aber trotzdem in Kürze in vielen interessanten Städten. Es bietet alles, was der erholungssuchende Toskana-Urlauber sich wünscht: Ruhe, typisch toskanische Landschaft und viele kulturelle Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Vermieter sind einfach reizend und zuvorkommend, wir haben bei ihnen eine wunderbare Zeit verlebt |
Poole, United Kingdom, POSTED: 06/05/2007 There is an excellent village store 250m from the villa which stocks just about everything you would need. We also found the quality of goods very high and the prices only slightly more expensive than the supermarket. The owners are very friendly and the store is open every day except Wednesday. The area has restaurants and pizzerias for every budget and all that we visited were offering food of good quality and service with a smile!
From the minute we arrived the owners made us feel at home and their friendly but unobtrusive manner made our holiday very special. The villa and the surrounding area are exceptionally beautiful and Chianti is very central for all major attractions and cities (with a car) as well as being remote and idyllic enough if you just want to enjoy the beuatiful countryside. |
