These villas are on an estate with another villa - they are completely closed in with a privacy gate. The parking is covered and each Tuscan villa rental has its own lush green garden area with tables, chairs and umbrellas.

Pool area great however weather in october was a bit too cool to enjoy the pool as we returned late each day from siteseeing. The town of Montaione was beautiful and less than 2 km from the villa which was very convenient for grocery/wine shopping and restaurants. We had a very good dinner at Corte Antica (casual dining) and one other fine dining restaurant but the name escapes me. We did have an excellent lunch at La Bottega del Moro in Greve in Chianti (the best meal we had on during our whole Italian holiday)- I would recommend this restaurant highly. |

Der umzäunte Garten ist ideal für Kinder. Die Auffahrt zum Haus sehr imposant. Die gesamte Anlage ist äusserst großzügig und sehr gepflegt. In den 2 Wochen hatten wir den Pool fast für uns allein. Die Besitzer der Anlage waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Anwesens ist ideal für Ausflüge nach Volterra, San Gimignano Florenz usw. Mit dem Zug von Castelfiorentino kann man für 3,40 Euro in ca. 30 min. in Siena und in ca. 50 min. in Florenz sein. Zum Einkaufen empfehle ich den coop in Castelfiorentino (mehr Auswahl und günstiger als in Montaione). Der angebotene Kochservice ist sehr zu empfehlen. Tanja hat uns ein hervoragendes Menü gekocht. |
