PROPERTY: An ancient watchtower that dates back to the 13. century with wide massive stone walls, high ceilings and large windows. Lot of space in the house and even more outside with large private ground.
LOCATION: Nearly on top of a green rolling hill close to PANZANO one of the most charming hill tows in the whole CHIANTI area. In Panzano you find several restaurants; a medieval church and famous whine bars.
SPECIAL: The location with its breathtaking views of the GREVE Valley. Here you are on top of everything, absolute quiet and remote location and still close to major attractions.

Superb pool Very nice and helpful caretaker but his use of english was minimal, which can be difficult at times! The villa is SO well stocked with china and glass and some antique furniture which we felt was too good to be left to non stop tourist visitors.It could be damaged! Restaurants in Panzano were very good, also nearby ones only a short drive away.

One could not wis for more in a true Tuscan Villa. Restoro di Lamole restautant is excellent in every way. La Cantina in Greve is also worth while. |

I had several bad meals in the area but by far the two best places to eat are Vesicovino in Panzano and Moro in Greve.The hosts of the villa were very helpful. |
