Rio Verde

Classical Tuscan stone exterior farmhouse rental set on the banks of a mountain river. It is a great romantic get away for a couple or two, who are looking for somewhere quite, relaxing and totally immersed in Tuscany and its way of life.  Situated only a short walk from a quaint little Italian town this Tuscan holiday home is close to shops and restaurants - as well as public transportation.

The owner had quite a bit of fun restoring the villa and added quite a bit to give it a distinctive Tuscan charm - wood accents, stone fireplace and elegant country furnishing.  The farmhouse is set on two floors and has an entrance on each floor.  The ground floor looks out towards the garden and river.

The first floor of this holiday home opens to a sitting room area with a sofa bed and the main bedroom, bathroom with shower and the stairs to the loft and second bedroom.  There are internal stairs that take you to the ground floor and the living room with fireplace and eat in kitchen.  The kitchen opens directly to the covered back terrace where you will find an outdoor fireplace and a splendid view of the garden.

The garden area is well maintained and the owner has cleaned out the area by the river so that one can go bathing in the brisk Tuscan waters or relax while being lulled to sleep by the sound of water pouring over the Tuscan boulders.
