Il Tirabuscio Bibbiena Restaurante was excellent food and very friendly as were all the local shops which we used in Bibbiena. |

However, we also made numerous trips to surrounding towns including Cortona, Greve in Chianti, Siena, Lucca and Florence. The villa was actually more beautiful than the photos. |
| Gloucester, United Kingdom, POSTED: 22/09/2007 The best villa we have had the pleasure of staying in, the owners were fantastic and everything was very clean and well cared for including the pool area and jacuzzi... the owners popped around with local delicacies and the old bottles of wine. Restaurant Il Tirabusco in Bibbiena very nice for evening meal (but wouldn't recommend for children) - Co-op in Bibbiena sells pretty much everything it's closed Sundays and Monday mornings |

The setting is breathtaking, the grounds are immaculate and the view from the pool over to the town of Bibbiena is picture perfect. The villa itself is very clean and elegantly furnished. The owners were the souls of discretion and only ever appeared to offer us local delicacies which were much appreciated by all. We couldn't reccommed this villa highly enough. Truly, a little piece of heaven on earth. Many many thanks.
The nearby town of Bibbiena is absolutely beautiful and very un-touristy! It has everything you might need and more. The restaurants are all highly reccommended, not too expensive and very friendly. Don't rush around trying to see the 'big' sights, the real Italy is all right here on your doorstep. |

There is also a large pool, hot tub and extensive gardens which were great for our boys (aged 9 and 7 years) to run around. There are lots of outside entertaining areas and the owners were extremely kind and friendly and brought us several Italian delicacies as treats throughout our stay. The owners also very much respected our privacy and we hardly knew they were there. Casa Cardinale is your “picture postcard” Tuscan villa offering lovely views of neighbouring countryside and is the ideal place to stay if you are looking for a truly restful, comfortable and relaxing holiday where you can just “chill out”! Nearby Poppi is worth a visit if you want to get out and about.

Pool traumhaft, hervorragend war insb. für die Kinder das ein eigenes Fußballtor mit großzügigem Platz sowie ein Volleyballnetz vorhanden waren (war aus der Hausbeschreibung nicht zu entnehmen). Das Eigentümerehepaar war ausgesprochen nett und bei Bedarf hilfreich (aber sehr dezent und eigentlich nicht spürbar--> sehr positiv) |

We had such a wonderful, relaxing time there. We have never stayed at a place before where we have all agreed that we would come back again.
Thanks for a great vacation! Bar Turismo in BIBBIENA was a very good place for coffees and ice cream. |

We were eight adults and everyone was completely satisfied with everything. The owner was very friendly. We have absolutely nothing to complain about. |

One thing my husband and I did that was an excellent idea. We took a bus from Florence to Bibbiena, it took 2 1/2 hrs with a cost of 4 euros per person, it was the best value. We drove through many hilltowns and small villages, passing vineyards and olive groves, it was just wonderful. One little restaurant we particularly like was just as you came up the hill into Bibbiena, we ate outside that the view was beautiful we could see the villa in the distance, if I ever remember the name of the restaurant I'll let you know. We walked into Bibbiena many times and we found all of the shopkeepers very friendly, especially at the deli's, lots of free samples.
The villas was more than I dreamed it could be. Everything was spotless and well cared for. The pool was immaculate and so were the grounds. The owners were wonderful they were helpful in every way. |

They were exceptionally wonderful hosts, almost as if we were guests in their home & not paying guests. |

The owners were wonderful to us and even baked a cake for my sons 15th birthday. The accomodations were luxurious, with plenty of room for 8 people. We loved staying on the property with a family with such rich history. The owner knew everything about Bibbiena and even told us that St. Francis of Assisi walked on his property. We hope to keep in touch with them and hope they come to the United States for a visit. I would highly recommend this property. |
