All restaurants in Tuscany in the list below have been visited by one of our team. This means we actually did eat there and the food was delicious and tasteful. We decided to share this experience with our clients. Maybe you rent one of our villas in Tuscany, so you already have a place to go out and eat. Most restaurants have an email which you can use to reserve a table if you are a larger group.

37 Results Ristorante Casentino The restaurant is situated in the old stable of the castle of Poppi and, in a friendly atmosphere, offers, in its two large rooms, local dishes of Casentino as home-made pasta, grilled and roast meat, together with well-known Tuscan wines selected by the sommelier. La Torre di Gnicche A majestic medieval tower is home to this little hole in the wall right off of the beautiful town square in Arezzo - small, cozy, great food and even better wine. Antico Girone On your way outside of Florence towards the rolling hills of southeast Tuscany and the vineyards of Ruffina - set on the edge of the Arno River just as it exists Pontesieve, you will find this restaurant.  Great for large groups! The large environment makes this great for groups or even kids - there is lots of space to spread out and not be on top of one another.  If you can get a place outside it is worth it, you can enjoy a soft relaxing atmosphere - unless it is too hot then opt for the inside and AC. Il Proverbio Unexpected find outside of Val d`Arno San  Giovanni and not too far off from Bucine.  This large restaurant has spacious inside and outside seating making it ideal for summer or winter meals. A little towards the modern side - brand new structure.  It is clean and well kept.  The owners are carefully putting in a very large garden area around the outside terrace where dining is possible - weather permitting.  I would imagine that it would great to sit outside in the summer and eat a good pizza.   Emo Bruschetteria Toasted bread with typical Italian sauces - the famous BRUSCHETTA is their specialty...At EMO BRUSCHETTERIA their delicious "bruchettas", top quality salumi and cheeses, seasonal pasta salads and lots of local wine are what will fill you up at this restaurant - without emptying your pockets!  Il Tirabuscio Elegant and tastey dishes, accompanied by an extensive wine list. The chef has lots of fun inventing new menus which will satisfy a local clientele and entice the foreigners to try something just a little more adventurous.It is small and quaint - setting a great romantic environment, though not neceessarily a restaurant for small kids, upon request the cook will accomodate their little tastebuds. You will find it relaxing, the cook is entertaining and often comes out to meet his guests. The food is excellent and the prices are moderate. All my referrals have been very happy with the quality, the service and the environment.   Yellow Bar Some places, even though they cater to a tourist crowd, manage to distinguish themselves anyway. Here you will find a typical pizza menu, which are all cooked in a wood burning stove, as well as a wide selection of fresh salads of every type. Sometimes its just what you need after walking the Florentine streets Limonaia Located in the heart of Folonica off of the main square and the lovely little street for strolling in - nice covered outside seating area - so you can enjoy the summer breeze while relaxing with a good Italian style pasta! L'Antica Limonaia Elegant and set in a beautiful setting between Siena and Montepucliano, this restaurant is the perfect setting for a romantic meal or a realxing evening out with friends. L'Osteria del Pinzagrilli Great home style cooking at even better prices.  You can eat alot and not have to worry about the prices eating you.  They are hidden in a little alley way that opens into a delicious summer terrace as well as an inside sala. Locanda Castello di Sorci Tuscany overflows with restaurants, its a national past time! However restaurants that still make their own pasta, that is a little less likely to find.  Here you will find traditional meals, just like the Nonna (Grandmom) would make.  No frills, just good plain pasta with sauce and meat dishes. La Fonte A little off the beaten track in Seggiano - but the cook is well worth it. A varied but truly Tuscan menu, this lovely little restaurant bar has the idea of trying to look much more formal than what it is. We found the menu to be absolutely delicious. Osteria Panta Rei Elegant Restaurant in Chitignano, where you can eat also fresh fish dish, who use tipical ingredients. Renai Set on the hillside over the charming little town of Castiglion Firoentino, this restaurant offers large portions, home cooking and a cool refreshing outside terrace during the summer months. La Torre delle Civette Nothing fancy - in fact the Italians would call this a ristorante popolare, which means the restaurant for the common people.  It is loaded with locals and has absolutely no dress code - great for kids or just bumming it. Osteria del Gallo Cozy little restaurant with good solid menu held in the Tuscan traditional located on the main road out of Arezzo in the direction of Cortona.  Perfect place to stop for a pick me up before you hit the touristic sites in Cortona. Il Vicolo Quaint restaurant, great wine list and in the summer time an incredible panoramic terrace.  Worth the visit to this little town to see the fortress and walk the streets, its like living in yesteryear. La Corte dell'Oca Restored to perfection and filled with lots of do-dads from the 50\'s, you will have as much fun looking at all of the objects as you will deciding which dish to get - or at least when to stop getting something to eat.... La Tinaia Stunning inside sala with large brick vaults, and charming outside terraces in the quaint little town of Certaldo.  Definitely worth the stop - quality / price ratio is perfect. Il Rabarbaro Classic Tuscan restaurant with an extensive menu including fish and meat on the grill, home made pastas and local wine.  The price quality ratio is excellent here, and they also offer catering at very reasonable prices (even for smaller groups.) L'Orcello Crostini are one of their specialities.  You can make a dinner just on these!  Lots of local specialities - true home cooked food with a rustic wine from the area makes this place a touch of authentic Tuscany Bar Scarpaccia A one of a kind of experience that truly merits a stop.  This is not your traditional sit down type of restaurant, but if you are looking for some of the best Italian salumis and cheese and relish the idea of eating just like the farmers would then this is a must stop for you! La Capannina Fresh handmade pasta, grilled fish and Italian pizza!  All of this on the each watching the waves and the Tuscan sunset. Alaska Nice restaurant that makes everything: bruschetteria, pizzeria, pub and ice cream shop... really for all tastes! La Barcaccina La Barcaccina is a very cosy restaurant situated on the beach and vanishes between pine forest and the sea waves. At the entrance you will find a bar with a terrace where in the morning you can start your day with a tasty breakfast. At lunch time a quick snack: fresh sandwiches and various salads enjoying the sun and the sea. But our bar is not only for the adults: the children will find a great choice of ice cream and granite. At dinner time our bar leaves space to the suggestions between a sunset and a relaxant and romantic aperitif Il Delfino Good tasted restaurant on the beach!!!! Wonderful views, elegant atmosphere, delicious dishes, full Tuscan menu, a lovely place located at CECINA MARE... a place you can enjoy from early morning up to midnight! On Saturdays there is a Disco Pub. La Tavernetta nice restaurant-pizzeria in the centre of bibbiena Al Fogher Al Fogher is a typical Pizzeria / Restaurant very close to the centre of Arezzo, that offers quality food and reasonable prices. The main specialty is PIZZA but you find a rich menu composed of typical Tuscan cuisine, specilly meat and appetizers. The desserts are also inviting, like "panna cotta", "cremino" and sweet pizza! There is parking, tables in and outside and accepts credit cards. Il Principe A charming restaurant located in the centre of a cosy Tuscan village - GIOVI - only 6 km from Arezzo, the building is a historic farmhouse that has been completelly renovated. The specialties are dishes of the traditional Tuscan cuisine, local cuisine and specially fish. There is parking and facilities for handicaped clients available. Osteria Enoteca La Gattaiola In the small town of Fauglia - Pisa, in front of the local Church in the main square, is hidden in a medieval alleyway this charming Restaurant and Enoteca. The environment is really suggestive, with its original vaulted ceilings of Tuscan "terracotta". The service is refined and welcoming at a reasonable price. La Compagnia Bar Ristorante Pizzeria La Compagnia is a rustic but charming restaurant-pizzeria located at Sovicille - SIENA, within walking distance from the medieval town. This restaurant has also a cafe, opened the whole day, where is possible to have breakfast. It has tables outdoor and indoor offering many choices for all tastes. The menu is typical Tuscan cuisine, based on game dishes, as long as this area is well known by the local hunters. On Friday they offer fish. La Fattoria La Fattoria is located in the town centre of Montalcinello, a cosy medieval hamlet at Chiusdino, in the Province of Siena. In the main square beside the Church, opens to a Bar counter, opens the whole day. Inside, there are 4 large rooms and an inner court. The menu includes pizza and many Tuscan specialties. It is possible to arrange for dinner parties and weddings. Trattoria La Baracchina Typical Tuscan countryside Trattoria, located 1 km from the village of Sant'Andrea in Percussina Le Panzanelle Rustic but delicious Restaurant located in the heart of Chianti, between Radda and Greve, with a lovely garden with outdoor area for eating or a lot of room inside, opened the whole year. This is one of the best cost-benefit in Chianti which is usually an expensive area. Great typical local cuisine with delicious pasta and meat, great wines... even their table wine is pretty good. Very welcoming staff. Il Ciulé Charming restaurant with terrace and garden within walking distance from Castelnuovo in Garfagnana, Lucca. Specialties are pizza cooked in the wood burning oven, meat cooked in the wood burning grill like the typical Tuscan style and hand made pasta. Besides the bar offers all kinds of cocktails and delicious home made GELATO and desserts. Osteria Vecchio Mulino This Osteria is not a regular restaurant but what Tuscans should call a "bottega", where is possible to taste the most delicious and typical specialties like cheese, ham, bread and wine. Vecchio Mulino is a wine bar and tasting room, where the host is the owner himself who wil receive you inside his wine cellar and serve a multicolored appetizer - which actually have the weight of a lunch or dinner - matching the best wines to the most tradional and great quality products of the region. La Loggetta Charming small restaurant in a lovely setting, Paciano, a medieval town that belongs to Perugia, but located closer to Chiusi (South of Siena).
