Rignano

This splendid property offers three different apartments, two of them located in the main house, one in the ground floor and the other in the first floor. The third and smaller one is also the most charming, an independent cottage in front of the swimming pool. You can rent the whole place and have a freestanding Villa with private Pool, ideal for groups of 10 – 14 people, families or friends traveling together, the whole property becomes a beautiful and comfortable villa with a cozy dependence. Or you can rent the single apartments having a shared pool.

The location is great for its easy access to FLORENCE, Siena and Greve. Moreover, the view from this place is really fantastic, you can see all the Arno valley and the Florentine hills with its hamlets and castles all around and the Vallombrosa valley that hides its towns of thermal waters. From Pontassieve, only 10 minutes by car, you can park on the station parking area for free and take the train to Florence, avoiding problems with the city traffic and expensive parking.

FAVILLA

The largest apartment is called Favilla, on the first floor of the main house. The entrance is reached by an external stone staircase. From the loggia upstairs, the main door opens to a large living room, decorated with traditional Tuscan antique furniture, leather sofas and armchairs, wooden bureaus. A large fireplace, TV and stereo system are available for you to relax after a busy day-trip.

There is a dining area on the left side of the living room that seats up to 6 people. In the back there is a kitchen equipped with double sink, refrigerator with freezer box, electric oven, 4 burner stove, microwave, dishwasher, American coffee maker, bread toaster and all cookware and tableware you need. In case of need, you can use the washing machine, that is shared with the other two apartments.

On the left side there is a corridor that leads to the bedrooms. The first bedroom on the right is a single one where it is possible to have an extra bed. The second room on the right side is a spacious twin bedroom that can be converted into double, and two windows with a gorgeous view of the valley.

In the end of the corridor you have a full bathroom with shower, sink, WC and bidet. On the left side there is a twin bedroom with a lateral window. The second door to the left takes you to the master double bedroom with e-suite bathroom (shower, sink, WC and bide) and a lateral view of the valley from the large window. Favilla has a private outdoor space is in front of the house, where you garden furniture with a wooden table and chairs under the trees If you prefer to have meals outside, admiring the view and taking the fresh air of the rolling Tuscan hills this is exactly the right place to be.

IL PORTICO 

The second apartment remains in the ground floor of the main house, and can be accessed without any steps, by an archway renovated with a wrought iron and glass door.

It takes to the bright living room where you can read, relax, watch TV or listen to music. It is connected with the kitchen by another large archway. The kitchen is spacious and bright, because of its large window in the back. There is a table in the center, and all equipments around it: refrigerator with freezer, microwave, 4 burner stove, electric oven, double sink, American coffee maker, bread toaster, cookware and tableware. In case of need, you can use the washing machine, that is shared with the other two apartments.

On the right side, you have two double bedrooms, both with the view of the green valley and rolling hills. In the back there is one full bathroom with shower, sink, WC and bidet. The private terrace of this apartment is located on the right side of the house, which keeps its privacy, and offers the same great view on the rolling hills of Tuscany.

IL FIENILE

Is an independent cottage that used to be the old hayloft of the farmhouse. It has been transformed into a cozy little apartment for two in front of the swimming pool, with its independent private  terrace and really breathtaking views of the valley below .

On the first floor you find one large room, a part of it is dedicated to living area with SAT-TV and stereo and a small table, the other part has a queen-size double bed. The apartment is pretty new, very bright with 2 large windows that look over the valley. The red bricked floor and wooden ceiling reveal the original Tuscan style and at the same time you can enjoy all modern conveniences.
