This historic dimore has been in the family for over 200 years and has been recently restored to its original glory. Situated on three floors you will find 7 bedrooms and 7 and a half bathrooms. The villa was made for large families and lots of activities, and the caretaker strives to bring the old time sense of carefree vacation days into your Italian holiday.

Organized like a true noble family's home - you will find that the ground floor is dedicated to using the garden freely and family activities like preparing meals. There is a family size dining room with a large antique table large enough for everyone to enjoy a good Italian meal. Divided into two separate dining areas – the owner has arranged one room as the breakfast room, where upon request the caretaker will provide you with a delicious Italian breakfast. The second room is the formal dining area.
The kitchen has all brand new equipment and lots of counter space, a double faucet sink and stove with an oven - not to mention the super size refrigerator. The kitchen spills over into the antique kitchen which is not a eat in area with a fireplace and country style table. The both the kitchen and the sitting room on the ground floor open to the garden area which is reminiscent of yesteryear.
Up a large marble stairwell you will find the guest bathroom and a picturesque window overlooking the entrance gate and the garden below. On the first floor you will find the rooms which were dedicated to the nobleman's family - three spacious bedrooms each with a view overlooking a different part of the garden.
There are two large bathrooms tiled in the bright and intricate yellow blue tiles from Sciliy Italy. These bathrooms are super large and have tubs. This floor also hosts a study for the master bedroom with fireplace and a large sala with fireplace and crystal chandelier.  The caretaker is available for extra hours of cleaning upon request.
This floor has two bedrooms with two single beds each and one large bedroom with a double bed.  In the master bedroom there are the traces of an antique fireplace and an en suite bathroom with colorful Italian tiles.

The third floor is dedicated to the remaining bedrooms and bathrooms each with a shower.  This floor is characterized by the wooden beamed cielings and the authentic terracotta floors, typical of the architectural style in a nobleman's house.  All rooms are large and spacious.

Each bedroom has two windows looking out on to the front and back garden and the sloping hills of Montepulciano. The rooms are styled in a soft classical style with authentic antique pieces throughout the villa.

Oakland,, USA POSTED: 29/10/2007 We walked comfortably into town, maybe 15 minutes. There is parking right at the edge of town. Carla and Franco were very helpful. We were 14 and had a great experience - sharing the baths was not a problem. It's beautiful - You can't see too many of the views from the common rooms in the house (but we were inside only after dark). We used the formal dining room several times and loved our meals. We agreed that with more than a week we'd have spent more time at the Villa but it served as a perfect base for our explorations. The villa was better in fact than it had looked in the photos (especially the kitchen and informal eating area. Google directions were perfect.
Sandwich, UK, POSTED: 05/06/2007 Carla die Hausverwalterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
