Edera

The vacation house EDERA is surrounded by an enormous large private park.  Perfect vacation home rental for two or three families with children.  The 5 acre park is completely enclosed with a fence and controlled by an automatic gate.  Absolute privacy and security.

The owner built the pool area for his own family and children - so he added a few special safe guards!  It is entirely enclosed my a fence so that the children and run and play on the deck area and there is a secure gate at the begining of the steps up to the pool so that no one wanders unattended!  Set only a short distance from the villa this pool area guarantees fun for everyone.

There is a large covered terrace located directly outside the indoor dinning area. There is an abundant amount of Edera which grows on the side of the building and on the terrace overhand, thus where the villa gets is name.  This is a great place to sit outside and have a picnic lunch or a starlite dinner.  There is seating for 12 to 14 persons.

The first of two living room areas is located next to the main dining room.  Here you will find a fireplace and a large space for friends and family to get together - even a piano for those who want to pass teh evening together drinking a little Chianti and singing a few classics. 

The entire ground floor of the villa is dedicated to the daytime area, including a large living room area, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen has direct access to the garden and you will find tables and chairs right outside the doorway. This sitting area looks right over the pool and the stupendous Tuscan landscape which surrounds the vacation home.

On the first floor of the villa you will find 5 bedrooms.  There are three bedrooms with one double bed and two bedrooms with two single beds each.  In addition to the bedrooms there is a sofa bed which will accomodate another two children or young adults.  This floor also houses a sitting room area with fireplace - so if the groups needs to spread out a little it is possible that the children watch a little TV - which is SAT in English and German as the adults enjoy a roaring fire on the first floor.  There is also a small kitchen that serves as a breakfast room located on the first floor.

There are a total of 4 bathrooms in this villa, three of which are on the first floor and one is on the ground floor.  You will find two have a bathtub with hand held shower.  The two other baths have a shower cabin.

The villa is placed on a quite country road which sees very little daily traffic. You are approximately 2 km from restaurants and shops, and only a short distance to towns like Florence, Arezzo and Siena.
