Podere Panzano

A charming villa in the heart of Chianti, this vacation rental in Tuscany will enchant you with its comforts and stunning views. Within a short distance from the cosy town of Panzano, only 10 km from Greve in Chianti, Podere Panzano offers the best of the Tuscan countryside. Located on the hillside, Podere Panzano offers stunning views from all windows, garden and the pool area.

The villa is really secluded, inside a green lush park totally fenced in and with private parking. The villa offers a private swimming pool located on a plateau higher than the villa, so the views from this point are simply breathtaking. The pool is opened from May up to the end of September. The pool area is equipped with umbrellas and sun lounges and offers a surrounding sandstone solarium.

The villa is composed of two floors. The main entrance from the hill side gives access actually to the first floor, and the back entrance from the valley side gives access to the ground floor. On the ground floor you find a typical Tuscan style kitchen, with a cosy corner fireplace very useful for a delicious barbecue, following the local habit. The kitchen is equipped with stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer box and all necessary cook ware and tableware. The kitchen opens onto a terrace, furnished with tables and chairs for outdoor eating and from where it is possible to enjoy a wonderful panorama of the surrounding Chianti vineyards.

On the ground floor you have a lovely living room with open fireplace and a dining room for all six people to seat together for a great dinner with some local wine! All rooms are furnished with antiques and special period objects and for this reason the owner requests that children must be over 10 years old.

The first floor holds a landing and a sitting room with another open fireplace and all three bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and its own en-suite bathroom equipped with a bathtub, sink, WC and bidet. Next to the master bedroom there is one double- and one twin bedroom, each one with its own bathroom located beside, complete with shower, WC, sink and bidet. The first floor can also be accessed directly from the frontal entrance, if you have persons with some difficulty to make the stairs.

The villa offers an equipped area for outdoor meals, with a barbecue, tables and chairs for lunches or dinners al fresco. The villa has central heating and telephone (paid extra by consumption if needed).

The location is privileged, on the top of a hill from where you can overlook the stunning views of the Chianti vineyards and olive groves. It is a 5 min drive from the closest supplies at Panzano and only 10 minutes drive from the beautiful Greve in Chianti. The villa is located right between Siena and Florence, which are within approximately 30 to 45 minutes drive from the villa, Siena to the south and Florence to the north.

You have the possibility to organize many activities, from mountain biking to wine tours in some of the hundreds of wineries close by; from golf at Ugolino golf course to horseback riding. Day-trips to the most towns and castles of Chianti are easy and fun.
