Nice family run restaurant. You'll find all the local dishes prepared fresh and cooked expressed: spinach and ricotta ravioli, pappardelle with wild boar sauce, pasta with pumpkin and bacon, and among the desserts, the chocolate cake filled with mascarpone cream or "tozzetti" with vin santo. All served with courtesy and professionalism. In summer you can eat outside under the pergola.

The restaurant preserves traditional recipes: the pasta is "homemade", they use fresh local products: Olivastra Seggianese the oil, meat and sausages of Monte Amiata, porcini mushrooms, chestnuts Amiata PGI. Ability to host banquets, ceremonies and organized groups.
A little off the beaten track in Seggiano - but the cook is well worth it. A varied but truly Tuscan menu, this lovely little restaurant bar has the idea of trying to look much more formal than what it is. We found the menu to be absolutely delicious.

Welcoming atmosphere in one of the best preserved towns in Italy with stunning views of Monte Argentario. Tables outdoors. Very friendly owners, excellent food. Specialities: lamb from the grill, mushroom soup, pappardelle with wild boar sauce, truffle ravioli, pici with duck sauce, noodles with porcini mushrooms, wild boar...! Tip: If you have the feeling of having eaten too much, then you make a beautiful walk along the city walls of Magliano!

Sorano is a city which was born in the 3rd century B.C. Here people have found Roman and Etruscan findings. This town has traces of the past everywhere. You can still see the Etruscan Necropolis. Close by you will find the Saturnia Terme. Sovana is another town few minutes from Sorano that used to be the main city. Both are made by Tufo stones and worth a visit. Here you can enjoy the typical restaurants and shops.
This is a garden created by Niki de Saint Phalle. Here you can spend some time with a relaxing walk enjoying her enormous sculputers. Up to 15 meters high, large and colorfull, the big mamma is standing between century old trees. A strong contrast of nature and culture! The park is open from 2.30 PM until 7.30 PM. The ticket cost about 10 euros per adult.

Mar Morto is one of the most beautiful unspoiled and free beaches of Monte Argentario - Grosseto. This beach is a rocky beach. Here you will enjoy the beach in a silence and relaxing way. You need a car to arrive there!
Rocca di Montemassi is a faboulous winery located in the heart of Maremma. Here you can have a wine tour and see all the procedures to produce it. You will taste and buy after the best wines such as "Sassabruna DOC".
The Pontentino Castle was built around the year 1000 by the bishops of Chiusi. Today the Castle belong to the British family Green that made of the castle a prestigiuos farm where olive oil and wine is produced.
The Olive Oil from Seggiano is renowed all over the world. It's considered one of the best. For this reason the city of Seggiano decided to open a Museo to celebrate the olive oil. Here you can see how it is produced and all the procedures. The ticket it's about 3.- euros per person. Th Museo it's open Tuesday and Thursday from 10.00 to 13.00 and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 17.30 to 19.00. If you want to do a tasting tour the ticket is 5.- euro per Person.
Scansano is a cozy small Medieval town close to Grosseto. Here you can visit many historical structures und buildings, as well as the medieval castle. There are many typical Tuscan restaurants and bars.
The very feature of the Tuscan dishes is the wild pork, called CHINGHIALE. In this event you can try it cooked in many different ways. This Sagra take place in the month of September in the cozy medieval town of Capalbio. Walking trough the town for this event you will find many flea markets and stands with typical food.
The Argentario Polo Club is located on the Mediterranean sea, in Tuscany, at Monte Argentario international seaside resort. It is a 30 minutes by car from Grosseto, an hour and half south of Florence and an hour and half north of Rome. The Club sprang out of an idea in the '80 from a group of players coming from Rome, Milan and South America who wanted to enjoy playing polo in a beautiful frame setting by the sea. The polo field and the stables are in classic "Maremma Toscana" countryside with wonderful View of the sea and in the middle of a new golf court of 18 holes. Facilities: 2 polo fields, sand track, stables and The Club House which has been opened the 26th of July 2007.

Magliano Mare is a really beautiful town worth a visit. The concerts start usually around 21.45 and the ticket costs from 10-15 euros including the wine tastings.
