Villa Aquarello, located in a lovely little residential town outside of FLORENCE, combines the traditional Tuscan flair for creativity in architectural design with classical interior furnishing. There are 4 large bedrooms and 4 bathrooms - a bed space for up to 9 persons. The villa, is 20 years old and makes use of modern architecture to get the best out of the space, light and warm lush Tuscan landscape. This villa offers a lovely, spacious and luminous atmosphere for your Italian holidays. You are surrounded by stunning views of the Florentine hillside from the various terraces of the villa.
Near by this Tuscan vacation rental you will find Italian restaurants, open air Tuscan markets, shops and cafes. Quick access to public transport for Florence and the national trains are within a few km of this vacation property. Easy day trips to Siena, Pisa, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Chianti and Cortona.
To the right of the main entrance is a second sitting room - so large groups or families with children have lots of space to spread out without crowding. The owner has tastefully decorated the villa with original paintings and sculptures - giving the housy an artsy flair - and reflecting the true nature of Tuscany. You will note the large windows allowing for lots of natural light and plenty of views of the beautiful garden which surrounds the villa. You will also find the stairwell which leads up to the first floor and the bedrooms.
The entrance to the villa opens in to a large room (approx. 80 sqaure meters) which divides into three areas. This part of the house is distinguished by the light colored wooden floors and a beautiful cozy open face fireplace. The living room area is divided into two parts; the music area with a baby grand piano - where you can sit together and play a few tunes laughing over the days events. The other part is the sitting area where you will find a two comfortable sofas and a large winged chair in front of the fireplace.
There is a stereo system, private phone line with broad band internet access and SAT TV. The dining room area had a huge wood table which will sit up to 10 persons. The ground floor of the villa covers over 140 sqaure meters of enclosed space and opens to two large terrace areas.
The large eat in kitchen is roomy, luminous and cheerful. As you pass through from the living room there is a fireplace for grilling to the left and to the right, sliding doors which lead out to one of two terraces (ideal for eating breakfast). The kitchen is equipped with all modern amenities such as, a dishwasher, 6 burner-stove with oven, large refrigerator and freezer, coffee machine, toaster etc. Behind the kitchen, there is another large room with a washing machine and iron.

There are three double bedrooms upstairs and the largest, the fourtīs has three single beds. Each bedrooms has ample closet space, wood floors and large windows. Two of the bedrooms have a terrace which looks out on the garden and pool area below. There are three bathrooms on the first floor. Two of which are with all necessities and a shower and the third bathroom with a a tub and hand held shower nozzel.
The garden area is furnished with olive trees, fruit trees and flowers which are in bloom continously. There is approx. 2000 square meters of completely closed in garden space by a large hedge which will assure you of a privacy. The pool is only 20 meters from the villa, with its own chairs and tables - this a great place to relax and enjoy the serenity of the area. And to add a special touch there is a wood buring pizza oven where you can try your hand at being a "pizziaolo", or throw a pizza party for the group by the pool!
Upon request the owner can arrange for a cook to come and prepares your favorite meals. They will prepare everything there at the house, and if you ask you might even be able to watch or particiapte in the making of some authentic Italian pasta and a good old fashion Tiramisų. A complete multicourse menu costs between 30.- and 40.- per person. The owner includes 6 hours of cleaning in the price of the villa.
VILLA AQUARELLO lies in an absolutely quiet area, on the crest of a hill ca. 1 km above of Rignano (a town ca. 18 km south of Florence). Rignano has a railway station with direct trains to Florence and Rome. If you are a large group, more than 9 persons, there is the possibility of an extra 2-4 persons in guests rooms in the villa next door with private bath - please assk for availability when you book the villa.
You should not miss the romantic panorama road from Florence passing by "San Donato in Collina" to Rignano. Itīs an idyllic alternative to the Autostrada - highway!
Only a few kilometers away from the villa you find several Outlet stores, such as "Dolce e Gabbana" and the huge shopping center THE MALL, with many different fashion-shops.
