The owner of the castle made it possible that you can still enjoy the charm and beauty of this amazing place. The restaurant is located in one of the wings of the palace, where the stables were once located and has been completely renovated. The old winery is also an ideal venue for exhibitions. Still active is the old oil mill with the old millstones.
"L´Orcello" is a typical Tuscan restaurant, in summer you can dine under a gazebo overlooking the ancient village of Talla. You should taste the delicious spaghetti with onions, roasted pork shank, pizza, desserts and much more. The place is open from 7 pm. Animals are allowed.

La Giostra del Saracino is an historical festival, which lasts one week, two times per year: June and September. During this week you will enjoy the tradition of this Joust which is a revocation of the fight against their enemy: the Saracen. You will see the participants dressed with historical costumes, jugglers, typical food and music. In this week the city of Arezzo is divided into 4 groups. Each group represents a part of the city. This festival was born as a training for the warriors to fight the enemies. Today each group has to do its best to win the joust by making the highest score. The goal is to hit a puppet with a wooden lancet while galloping on a horse.

Market in Rassina
If you rent a villa in the casentino valley you can go shopping every Wednesday morning in the main square of the town of Rassina. Here you will find typical products as well as fresh vegetables and fruits. There are also cheese stands and salami and prosciutto stands. You can buy also fresh fish and cooked chicken with fried potatoes.
Each Monday morning from 9 AM to 1 PM at Loro Cuffienna you wil find the weekly market. This is the typical Tuscan open air market where you find fresh fruit, veggies, all kind of groceries, clothes and everything an Italian Mamma needs at home!
Notte Rosa, or Pink night, is a night dedicated to all the women. In the medieval city of Arezzo for this occasion there are music shows, exibhitions, cultural entertainements, trade fair and much more.
Since nearly 60 years each year on the 15th of August there is a beauty contest in Loro Ciuffenna. 15th of August is the day of Ferragosta the most important Italian holiday. In the last years the winners of this contest have been mostly young tourist ladies from all parts of the world, preferable blond but not necessary. Every lady, girl or woman can participate in this traditional event. You can apply to participate directly there with the organization team. This is a very funny and entertaining event. Try it out!!
