Unspoiled lush woods, mountains, lake, rivers, waterfalls; knowledge, adventure and much fun are waiting for you. The National Park of the Casentinese Forests, Monte Falterona and Campigna (its full name) is the largest one in Italy, set between Tuscany and Romagna regions, it extends over the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine ridge.
We were a group of 18 friends celebrating life together. The Villa Canto was just perfect for us. The bedrooms were confortable and well appointed. Every day brought a new experience of the countryside around us. Great time, thanks!!!!!

Great sunsets and sun-rises; it's surrounded by olive groves and there are only groves and vineyards between the villa and Sarteano on the South and Chianciano on the West. It is very conveniently situated for trips to Sarteano, Chiusi, Chianciano-Terme, Montepulchiano, Pienza, Trasemeno, Cortonna, Montalchino & Sienna. Florence is only 1.5h away. We were even able to make a day trip to Pisa. The owner/caretaker of the villa was very responsive to any needs. The service was friendly and there were no unanticipated charges. The caretaker doesn't speak English so for English-only clients you may need to get the help of the staff in the office to translate. We had a great time!
