The ground floor of the main structures opens to a huge dining room area where the entire group can enjoy meals together. Those that are not eating can sit in the comfortable sofas and armchairs and enjoy a relaxing environment, with SAT TV. The kitchen area is spacious and very functional with many modern amenities such as dishwasher, super large oven and refrigerator. In the kitchen you will also find an impressive fireplace perfect for grilling, BBQing or simply creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Up the stairs to the first floor you open into a second living room complete with a focolare, which in Italian means huge fireplace. There are soft comfortable sofas and chairs in this corner of the villa making it a great place for the group to divide and enjoy one anothers company. Off of this room you will find three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The main rental villa has an enormous ground floor set up as a living room and dining room area. Next to the dining room is a magnificent eat-in kitchen with all major amenities including a dishwasher, large stove, super sized refrigerator and a fireplace for preparing grilled meats – or simply to cosy up the atmosphere.
Within walking distance of a small Tuscan town where you will find ancient streets and age old houses, this is the perfect atmosphere for relaxing and getting the feel of the "real" Tuscany The area where the villa is situated has a very long and eventful history ending in 1356, when the population from SIENA forcefully occupied the small town and from that date, the inhabitants were compelled to pay a very heavy tax in order to be considered Sienese.
In 1555, this led to a complete decadence of the castle. It was then that the Grand Duke started looking after it until 1813 when the castle was rented to an aristocratic nobleman of that era, who later acquired it and their family still has possession today.
A truly unique villa rental set right outside a Medieval town, which most amazing is its peculiar swimming pool in the lovely panoramic garden. This large villa is a great opportunity to get large groups to visit the Tuscan area yet really experience the enchanting Italian atmosphere surrounding a small town life. Located 60 km far from Siena, this villa offers a possibility of day-trips in Chianti region as like as the uncontaminated southern Tuscany.

On your way outside of Florence towards the rolling hills of southeast Tuscany and the vineyards of Ruffina - set on the edge of the Arno River just as it exists Pontesieve, you will find this restaurant. Great for large groups!
Restored to perfection and filled with lots of do-dads from the 50's, you will have as much fun looking at all of the objects as you will deciding which dish to get - or at least when to stop getting something to eat....
