Subbiano - a country town with lots of opportunities to join the Italian social life Small Tuscan towns - but worth a visit

Inhabited by the Etruscans, protected by the Romans, fortified by the Longobardi and castles from the mid 1500's onwards makes this a very busy town.  However the social life of today includes, markets, evenings in the cafe, strolls around town in the park area and eating at outdoor restauarnts.
