Poggio Bruno is a luxury Tuscan villa located on the summit of a Tuscan hill with a gorgeous view of the ocean, on the borders of a natural park surrounded only by unspoiled nature. The area is an ancient medieval hamlet with Etruscan origins, between the towns of Bolgheri and Bibbona, on the central Tuscan coast.
Located in a strategic position, really secluded, this villa offers much privacy and the possibility to practice many healty activities, like mountain biking, trekking or horse riding. For those who prefer just to relax by the ocean, in a few minutes you can reach many sandy beaches at the Etruscan Riviera: Baratti, Bolgheri, Bibbona (25 km of distance). The villa is located within a short drive away from Volterra (30 km) and the most important art cities in Tuscany: San Gimignano – 59km; Pisa – 70 km; Lucca – 80km and Florence – 110km.
The manor house has been completely renovated in the respect of the typical Tuscan characteristics, all the façade and the outdoor area have been rebuilt, the swimming pool is brand new and the garden area totally remade.
Poggio Bruno is a magnificent Tuscan manor house with more than 300 square meters of living area set up on two floors plus an attic, with gorgeous views, dominating the hills like an ancient watchtower. The ground floor is composed of a splendid 80 square meters large room with three environments: a spacious dining room with a table for up to 12 people, a library and a relaxing and reading area furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs.
The fully equipped kitchen located on the ground floor is provided with all necessary utensils and conveniences. The furniture consist of handmade lacquered and coated pieces. On the ground floor you find four double or twin bedrooms, three of them with en-suite full bathrooms.
On the first floor there are two twin bedrooms that share a large full bathroom, equipped with a shower plus a Jacuzzi bathtub.
The central part of the villa is composed of two floors connected by a luxury marble staircase. On the first floor there is a large open terrace with a warm Jacuzzi whirlpool for 2 people, a delicious spot where to come and relax even at night with a wonderful view of the thousands of lights of houses, roads and small villages forming the Tuscan coast. From the Villa you are able to overlook at piece of nearly 45 km of cost line
The left wing is set on one floor, while the right wing has a tower plus another terrace. Surrounding the whole building, there is a large flowery garden, completely fenced in, that holds a great heated swimming pool. The swimming pool measures 10 x 5 meters and has a surrounding solarium of handmade fired bricks, for your relaxing sunbath. Even in off season till late November you can use the pool with its heated water.
The villa offers a fully equipped laundry for free use of guests, private parking area for up to 8 cars, a surrounding private park of 12 hectares with old pine and cypress trees woods and local natural well. An equipped outdoor area for meals and barbecue is provided by the swimming pool, with a covered terrace where you have a large table and chairs for everyone. A fixed BBQ structure is located outside.
The villa is totally provided with all modern amenities that you might need for a splendid thoughtless vacation: high speed internet connection in the villa, SAT-TV, DVD, CD, HI-FI system, house alarm and automatic iron gate with video entry phone. Besides, four mountain bikes are available at the villa for the free use of guests. There are lots of pathways to do in the surrounding park and elsewhere.
All bedrooms are furnished in typical Tuscan style, with antique pieces, traditionally made by expert Tuscan craftsmen. The floors in the Villa, in the kitchen and all bathrooms are done with typical handmade fired bricks or “cotto toscano”.

You have the coast, the historic towns, the lush Mediterranean nature, the plentiful and assorted local food of Tuscany with several restaurants all within close distance. If you don’t want to leave the Villa but stay most of your time there with your friends and family to relax from the stress at work, this is the perfect place to go!
On request you can have the maid come in every day and do the bedrooms and clean bathrooms and kitchen. These extra hours will be paid directly to the owner. Price 12.- euro per our.
The close by area of BOLGHERI offers also good quality Restaurant sand worldwide famous Tuscan wines, among them the Supertuscan Sassicaia, one of the best non-labelled wines made of local grapes grown up with much care in this particular location. Don't miss a visit to the hot springs close by, specially the Calidario Spa, at Venturina, it is really worthy!
