Villa Ercolano is a splendid beach house located within only 2 km away from Porto Ercole, a lovely fishermen harbour town of the Monte Argentario. Also the closest sandy beach, Feniglia, can be reached within 2 minutes drive or if you prefer you can make a pleasing walk.
The villa is positioned on the top of the hills which surround the coastline, with outstanding ocean views. The place is really secluded and offers much privacy as long as it is completely fenced in and immersed in a large green park of 4 hectares.
There is a wide veranda fully equipped for outdoor meals with an ideal size table for the whole group to gather together for a candlelight dinner with the fresh breeze from the sea. The whole garden area has complete garden furniture where to relax, seat for a chat with friends with a glass of wine, sunbath and have a great barbecue party.
The wide veranda furnished with a garden sitting room has French doors which gives access to the large living room, tastefully furnished in elegant informal style, with a cosy fireplace. A TV room can be also reached directly from the garden. The villa has SAT-TV, VCR, CD stereo player and many books available for moments of relax enjoying the comfort of this house.
The whole living area of the villa comprehends 400 square meters. The ground floor holds a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary appliances and utensils: refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher, American coffee maker and many other useful utensils, cookware and tableware. There is a guest toilette on the ground floor.
The master bedroom has a private veranda accessed directly from the garden with lovely wicker furniture and a king size double bed. This bedroom has its own private bathroom, fully equipped with bathtub, WC, sink and bidet.
The villa has in addition 2 twin bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms and one single bedroom. On the ground floor are located 2 double bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom, equipped with shower cabin or bathtub, sink, WC and bidet. Both bedrooms open directly to the surrounding veranda.
On the first floor are located 2 twin bedrooms, each one with their private bathrooms, one with bathtub and one with shower box, all with WC, bidet and sink. In addition, on the first floor is located one single bedroom.
The first floor is the villa's mansard. All bedrooms on the first floor have direct access to a panoramic terrace through wide French doors. The panoramic terrace has limitless views over the hills that extend down to the coastline.
On the same estate there is a second villa with pool, the ERCOLINA. The two villas together compose one single complex for large groups. Both are completely independent with private garden and entry, so your privacy is guaranteed. Maid service 2 hours per days is included in the rental price. Silvia, the maid, is available for cooking, babysitting extra cleaning etc.
Just let her know a day before. This extra services cost 12.- € per hour. You can have all help and assistance during your stay and all kind of extra service can be required by previous notice. Delicious Tuscan meals can be ordered, prepared and served in the villa upon request. Pets are not allowed in this villa.
Just a few meters from the villa there is a private swimming pool (4 x 9 meters) positioned on a plateau facing the wonderful Mediterranean sea. It is possible to catch a glimpse over 3 medieval fortresses located over the cliffs. The pool area has a wooden solarium fully equipped with sun beds, reclining chairs and umbrellas. By the pool there is a gazebo equipped with table and chairs for meals and snacks.
Guests of Villa Ercolano an use the soccer field located in the estate, shared with the second villa with additional 5 bedrooms, with 9 sleeping places. Both together make one property with two pools, for large groups of 21 persons!
The vacation home is 2 km away from the village of Porto Ercole where you find all facilities, many restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, etc. The same distance from the stunning sandy beach of Feniglia and the bay of Cala Galera, from where you can take a boat trip to Giglio and Montecristo islands. There is a golf course reached within 5 minutes by car, Golf Club Monte Argentario, with 18 holes. The location is exactly midway between Florence and Rome, and within 1 hour from Siena, with many possibilities of day-trips in Tuscany.
