Firenze Villa is a stunning Tuscan farmhouse recently renovated and furnished with style and luxury with all modern amenities, located in strategic position among the hills which surround FLORENCE within only 8 km from the doors of the city. The estate where the villa is composed of 32.000 square metres. dedicated to Mediterranean vegetation, all covered with cypress, oak and spruce trees, olive groves and fruit trees like chestnut, fig, cherry and plum trees.
The charming patio of terracotta bricks furnished with a charming garden sitting room, overlooks a limitless panorama of the Tuscan countryside with the green hills that surround the city of Florence. This villa is the ideal place for a relaxing and peaceful vacation in the countryside but really close to Florence's city center. The location is perfect for day-trips in the whole Tuscany, specially in Chianti, Pisa, Lucca, Siena and Arezzo.
The villa is an original building of thick stone walls which keep a very mild temperature inside all year round. Built on a slope, in three floors, the villa preserves all original features like its fired bricked floors and wooden beamed ceilings. The main entrance is accessed by the frontal patio on the higher level, or the third floor. The garden area is furnished with lovely garden tables and chairs, ideal for moments of relax or breakfast al fresco with the sound of the birds and the good smell of the local plants.
On of the many entrances open directly from the garden to the wide dining room, where you find a large wooden table with seats for all 12 persons in the group and to the left side, a cozy sitting room with a large original open fireplace. The eat-in kitchen accessed by the dining room is equipped with all modern amenities and necessary utensils and appliances: stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher. The villa is also equipped with all modern amenities like WIRELESS internet connection, washing machine, SAT-TV, etc.
The villa has 6 bedrooms (5 double rooms and 1 single room), distributed to 4 exclusive suites with private sitting room and a small breakfast kitchen and en-suite bathroom.
All rooms are exclusively furnished.
One of the two double bedrooms on the upper floor with its own private en-suite bathroom is furnished with a lovely wrought iron bed, a hand painted wardrobe and wooden dresser in typical Tuscan style. There is another double bedroom on this floor with connection to the single bedroom. Both bedrroms share one complete bathroom with shower, WC, bidet and sink and the double bedroom has its own service-bathroom with WC and sink.
All bedrooms have been carefully furnished and decorated in “arte povera” style.
All bathrooms are en-suite (6) and fully equipped with brand new pieces like modern sink, WC, bidet and shower cabin. There is also 1 Extra service bathroom in the suite with the single room. Each bathrooms has a single detail that reflects the original architecture of the villa, specially some bricked archways and arched windows.
Downstairs the entrance from the garden opens to a lovely living room, furnished with taste and provided of a small kitchen. The original ceiling has been kept exactly as it has been built with hand made fired bricks and wooden beams.
The double bedroom is really large and illuminated, furnished in typical Tuscan style with a personal touch from the owner, who was able to create a roomy and authentic environment like a home away from home in Tuscany.
The second suite is composed of a wide comfortable double bedroom, with a large window with stunning views over the green hills. An archway leads to the private sitting and dining room, with a kitchen corner.
The en-suite bathroom is really large, fully equipped with brand new shower cabin, WC, bidet and sink, decorated with much character with ceramic tiles that match perfectly with the whole villa's style and original architecture.
The third suite is the one that hosts a cozy double bedroom furnished with a French size bed (about 1,20 m wide), an original restored antique bed decorated with a rich and detailed marquetry handicraft. This bedroom has its own private en-suite bathroom furnished with shower, WC, bidet and sink and its private living – dining room with a breakfast kitchen.
The fourth suite is composed of a lovely double bedroom, en-suite fully equipped bathroom with shower, WC, bidet and sink. The passage room has a divan for relaxing and leads to the eat-in breakfast kitchen.
The private swimming pool is really stunning, 12 x 5 meters large, surrounded by an equipped area with a charming wrought iron gazebo with table and chairs where to have meals or breakfast by the pool. Right beside the pool there is a green meadow ideal for sunbathing, equipped with comfortable sun beds. Set on a plateau the villa and specially the pool area offer breathtaking views of the whole city of Florence and its surrounding hillside.
The closest town is Sesto Fiorentino, where you find all facilities, many shops, supermarkets and all services while the doors of Florence stay only 8 km from the villa. Ideal for day-trips in Chianti, Siena, Lucca, Pisa, Arezzo and the whole Tuscany. From Florence you can catch a train and make a day-trip to Venice or Rome. From Sesto Fiorentino there is a regular Bus and Train service to Florence and all other larger cities in Tuscany.
