The most peculiar beach establishment in the Monte Argentario, Riva del Marchese is very original as long as instead of sand you will sunbath on an English style green meadow! Riva del Marchese is a private beach under concession of a private luxury resort.
The beach has a natural strip of sand at the seashore, which is open to the public and if you prefer you can get there with your own sun umbrella, sun lounger and towels, and enjoy the lovely beach with crystal clear water.
Both sides are composed of reefs, which make the backdrop clearly visible, and ideal for snorkelling. Bring mask and fins and you will have a great time watching fishes in the clear blue water.
Riva del Marchese – the resort – is the best choice for a comfortable day on the beach, specially for families with children. You can rent an umbrella and two sun loungers at the beach and use their full service.
First of all, the sun loungers and umbrellas are positioned on a beautiful meadow as you can walk around without burning your feet on the hot sand.
Secondly, the place offers a complete service with all comforts: toilets, warm showers, private safety box at each umbrella, private parking and much more. To make your stay even funnier, they offer the possibility to rent: pedalo boats, single and tandem canoes and floating airbeds.
Besides, the catering service is really top class, the local restaurant and snack bar offers a delicious and complete Tuscan menu based on fish and other specialties. Snacks, ice-creams and drinks are also a choice.
