To the right of the main entrance is a large dining room, with an beautifully restored brick arched ceiling. Here the whole group can enjoy their meals together seated at a long wooden table – just like those who lived here several hundred years ago. The dining room is large and spacious – as well as cool and fresh in the summer months. Off of the dining room is the reception area where the owner and caretaker can assist you with any questions you may have about the local area.
The villa is divided into three different floors. The ground floor is primarily dedicated to the kitchen and meals except for one super large bedroom and bathroom. As you walk in on the left handside is a sitting room with sofa bed, and a separate bedroom with a double bed. This bedroom has its own private bathroom on the ground floor.
This historic vacation rental is actually a convent which was built in the late 1100’s and now a large and impressive holiday home. You will find lots of reminders in the architectural structure to remind you of its origins. A beautiful setting for families and friends looking to reserve a special and unique vacation home in a stupendous setting – close to restaurants, shops, public transport and major highways while at the same time reserving a piece of Tuscan countryside for their holiday pleasure.
There is also a wood burning stove right outside the kitchen for experimenting with the pizzas – or you can ask the on site caretaker to make you a meal – and you can participate in making pizzas together.
In front of the kitchen is an area which the owner designed as the breakfast room – where groups and come down and enjoy light meals together. There is also the laundry room behind this area.
Further down the main entrance, once again on the left you will find the kitchen. This is a working kitchen designed so large meals – even special ceremonies – like weddings or commemorative anniversaries. You will find all modern facilities incorporated into a unique and ancient setting – stove with oven, refrigerator with freezer and a dishwasher.
Up on the first floor you will find two beautiful sitting rooms. The first to the left is filled with the owners collection of books and --- antique records for your listening pleasure. This living room opens to a panoramic terrace with traditional greenery growing up the side creating a private and shady area.
This room is divided into two areas – one for listening to the” oldies” on the record player - or the other for sitting in front of a toasty fireplace on those cooler evenings.
On the right of the stairs leading to the first floor is a separate sitting room with an immense traditional Tuscan fireplace. The villa is truly special with all of the attention paid to detail in the colors chosen for the walls, to the restoration of the lovely wooden beams, terracotta floors and several antique pieces which furnish the villa.
You will find three of the seven bedrooms and two bathrooms on this floor. Each bedroom has its own personality including the color scheme as well as the furnishing and artwork. The owner has delicately mixed modern with old fashion to create a comfortable and pleasant environment for your holidays.
The two bathrooms on this floor both have showers. The villa is furnished with all bed, bath and kitchen linens and it is possible to have extra cleaning hours and a change of linens mid week, upon request. This is considered an extra and is paid directly to the owner. All bathrooms are furnished with hair dryers.
Up stairs on the second floor you will find two master bedroom suites with en suite bathrooms. Each bedroom has a separate sitting area with a full size sofa bed. These are ideals with families with small children – offering lots of space and comfort. These rooms boast of great panoramic views of the valley and garden below.
The suites have fixed double beds, and in the sitting room area there is a pull out sofa bed suitable for two young adults or a single adult. They are also furnished with a private AC unit.

Not only does the villa has a large green grassy area out front with tables, chairs and umbrellas - but it has a great panormaic position for the super large pool. Young and old will delight in the fresh cool breezes and the skyline at night. You will find a super restaurant within walking distance of the villa - specializing in traditional Tuscan dishes and grilled meats.
Excellent position for day trips, less than 15 km to the bustling town of Arezzo - with restaurants, shops, cafes and even an antique fair the first weekend of the month. You will also find a national train station and easy access to major highways for Florence, Montepulciano, Siena and Perugia. Close charming towns that worth a visit: Bibbiena and Poppi in the Casentino National Park.
