Mattone Piccolo

The property Mattone Piccolo is all over surrounded by the lush green Tuscan nature of Chianti Classico. It is located between Florence and Pisa. You can easily reach both in the less the 50 minutes. If you are looking for a quiet and pleasant atmosphere, this is made for you!

The house used to be a barn, which has been completely reconstructed. The windows on the first floor, where the hay was stored in former times, have this typical original shape with these diagonal bricks (Italian for  Mattone) which give a good ventilation and shadow inside the structure. A 1,5 km really well maintened dirt road will bring you to Mattone Piccolo.

The house is built on a hillside therefore you enter both floors from the ground level. On the lower floor there is the large covered front terrace with a stunning view over the valley, which has an outdoor kitchen, a marble table, chairs and a barbecue. Perfect to spend time outside! There is also an umbrella just in case it gets to sunny. You can enjoy  here your outdoor meals from April until October with no problem.

The glass door in the middle leads into the living room while the right glass door leads  into the bedroom. The furniture of the property has been carefully selected from the owner. Mattone Piccolo will be rented for the first time from 2015 onwards ! Everything here is brand new! The bedroom has a king size bed, bright furniture, air conditioning and an En-suite bathroom. Even while laying on the bed you can enjoy a stunning  view, overlooking  the green rolling hills of Tuscany. Also out of season you can admire here the tuscan nature and its wild animals walking by down in the forest, like wild porks,  deers, porcupines, fallows and much more.The bathroom is elegant, clean and modern with shower, WC, bidet and hairdryer!

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. There is an unduction cooker, fridge, washing machine, dish washer and all pots and pans necessary.

In the living room there is a comfortable sitting area with a design sofa. There is SAT-TV  which broadcasts channels in English, German and Italian. There is also internet Wi-Fi  in this countryhouse.  In the back there is the dining area with table and chairs which leads to the open space kitchen. The open fireplace gives this countryhouse a warm and magic atmosphere in autumn. You will find wood for the fireplace. The stairs behind the kitchen lead to the upper floor.

Upstairs you find a studio with a comfortable sofa and a large window with majestic panorama . The other side of the upper floor is closed. This is the painting studio of the owner, which will be used only  in winter when no guests will be there. Your privacy will be guaranteed 100%.  Mattone Piccolo is perfect for a couples. On the right side of the kitchen there is another smaller  bathroom with shower.
