Casello

Casello is a splendid Tuscan farmhouse located in the countryside, completely secluded, with stunning views around the Villa. The area is called Casentino and offers a gorgeous overview of the National Park.
The villa is composed of 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, so it holds comfortably a group from 9 up to 11 people. This typical Tuscan farmhouse has more than 200 years of history and has been reformed some years ago respecting the original project, materials and characteristics. No air-conditioning is necessary in this villa because the thick stone walls keep the temperature cool inside.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, all cookware and tableware necessary for you to prepare a delicious Tuscan meal. A washing machine and clothes lines are available in the villa.
Equipped with all modern conveniences, the villa offers a lovely sitting room with SAT TV and open fireplace, a large dining room with a massive wooden foldout table that holds the whole group for a dinner together.
A dresser and a cosy mezzanine complete the day-time area with a comfortable double sofa bed. On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other one with a single bed. A full bathroom with WC, sink, bidet and shower is shared between these two bedrooms.
On the first floor you find a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom equipped with WC, sink, bidet and shower and two comfortable double bedrooms that share a spacious bathroom with WC, sink, bidet and bathtub. On the mezzanine there is a sofa bed that holds comfortably two people.
All bathrooms are completely renovated with modern equipments. The bedrooms are comfortable, airy and illuminated with wondows that open to the lush garden that surrounds the villa.
The villa is surrounded by a large green park where in the middle there is a private swimming pool (12,2 meters x 5,4 meters), with Roman steps, child friendly.
The outdoor area is completely equipped with barbecue, covered terrace with tables and chairs for outdoor meals, deck-chairs and umbrellas around the pool, and a parking area on private ground for up to 4 cars.
The villa is strategically positioned, in the rolling Tuscan hills, totally fenced in and secluded. The view down the valley is amazing, the villa is completely surrounded by olive groves, green hills with cypress trees and a very quiet atmosphere.
The closest town where you find shops and groceries is only 5 km away. The closest town with a supermarket is Bibbiena, only 10km away, also a great medieval centre. The location is only 12 km from the city of Arezzo, 40 km from Cortona, about 85 km from Florence and Siena, 90 km from Montalcino and 100 km from Perugia. In other words, in a range of 1 hour drive it is possible to make delicious day trips in Tuscany.
