A renovated antique gate from the 18th century welcomes the guests in this lovely property. The super large swimming pool (18 x 4 meters) is located on a natural panoramic plateau from where guests will enjoy the greatest view ever! From this point it is possible to admire the medieval towers of San Gimignano, surrounded by the typical rolling green hills and traditional Tuscan landscape with vineyards and olive trees.
The pool area and surrounding garden are equipped with comfortable sun lounges and umbrellas including a special wicker furniture like sofas and armchairs, offering both sun and shadow for your relax by the pool.
The whole garden and pool area are illuminated in the evening creating a fantastic atmosphere. The pool area is a lovely place where to chill out with a glass of Chianti wine and chats with family or friends any time of the day or the evening. There is also a gazebo covered with vines and equipped with tables and chairs for outdoor eating. The outdoor eating area stays close to the kitchen and the barbecue area, making it very convenient for your breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The villa offers more than 500 square meters of comfortable living space on three floors. The main entrance opens to a charming hall that connects with a large room, on the left side there is a living room with a billiard table, comfortable sofas, armchairs and an original fireplace from the 18th century. There is a separated room for relaxation and entertainment, with a large flat TV with SAT and Sky channels, DVD and a complete home-theatre system.
The villa has been recently renovated and refurnished with many valuable pieces like an 18th graven marble fireplace, many original paintings, handicrafts, antique wooden or wrought iron beds, and much more. They have conserved very well the original architecture with its bricked floors, original thick walls which keeps the villa really cool during the hot summer and lightly colored walls.
On the opposite side there is a large dining room with a huge wooden table with enough place for everybody to seat together. The dining room gives access to the fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen offers a 6-burner stove, electric oven, a beautiful antique stone sink, a large refrigerator and freezer, microwave, American coffee maker, dishwasher and all utensils necessary for a great Tuscan meal.
The kitchen has direct access to the garden where there are available tables and chairs under a charming pergola of vines. The barbecue area is right there making it very easy to prepare outdoor meals.
In the dining room the owner just added another large flat TV with SAT and Sky channels making it two different spots where to relax and have fun with a movie or the soccer play of the day. It is also possible to have a mobile card for internet access, if you bring your own laptop you can connect and be online.
Besides, on the ground floor there is a double bedroom with its own private bathroom with shower. The beds can be split to make two twins upon request. Also in the ground floor are located a guest toilette and a laundry with washing machine, iron and iron board.
On the first floor of this impressive Villa there are located 7 bedrooms each with its own private bathroom. Among them, two bedrooms are furnished with indivisible double beds. Each bed has its own characteristics, some are wrought iron handicraft, others are typical wooden antique beds. All mattresses are of orthopedic quality and brand new. The owner has furnished each bedroom with important period pieces, creating a lovely different atmosphere in each one of the bedrooms.
On the attic floor you find the ninth bedroom, which has twin beds and a private full bathroom. The attic has also an opened terrace in the roof where you can admire the landscape that expands for miles up to San Gimignano hills.
The villa offers many services upon request to make your vacation completely thoughtless. A cook who comes in the villa to prepare delicious meals, extra maid service, reservations for wine tours, cooking classes and guided day-trips or horseback riding tours close by, mountain bike rental and much more.
Reached the attic, there is a roof terrace from where is possible to admire a stunning panorama. The internal spiral stairs lead to the spacious double bedroom that opens to another large terrace, private of this room. The most charming is the gazebo located in the back yard of the villa, with direct access from the kitchen and right beside the covered barbecue structure.
