The strategic position allows an easy drive from the airport of Pisa as well as easy day trip to many important cities of Tuscany like Siena, Florence, Volterra, San Gimignano, Lucca, Vinci and much more. The abundance of masterpieces of art and architecture can be visited also in the smaller towns close by, besides for those who are more interested to enjoy the countryside; the area is surrounded of vineyards, olive groves and natural parks.
The villa is composed of living room, dining room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a toilet. The ground floor is covered by a very wide living room with the original bricked archways, offering comfortable sofas and armchairs, SAT TV, DVD player and stereo system. Separated only by one of the large archways, there is a charming dining room with a wooden table and enough seats for the 6 guests.
The dining room leads to the kitchen which is very large and fully equipped with all modern facilities like dishwasher, electric oven, 6-burner stove and an open fireplace very useful to prepare a Tuscan style grill. There is a service room equipped with a washing machine, a vacuum cleaner and a shower, beside it is available a guest toilet that serves the ground floor.
Outside, there is a wide private garden equipped for outdoor eating with a barbecue area, tables and chairs. Downhill the private swimming pool is located in a stunning position with great views. It is surrounded by a solarium with umbrellas, sun loungers, tables and chairs. The pool measures 8 x 4 meters with 1,45m of depth and there is annexed a shallow area of 2 x 3 metres and only 0,60 metres of depth which is great for children.
On the first floor are located 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with a double bed each, and both are tastefully furnished with sofas or armchairs.
The typical features of the original villa have been carefully maintained, like the terracotta (fire bricked) floors and the wooden beamed ceilings. Besides the furniture matches tastefully with the traditional style of the villa.
One of the double bedrooms has also a charming fireplace. These bedrooms are so large that they hold a sitting area, with a sofa and armchairs. Besides, the large windows open to a green, limitless panorama.
The third bedroom has two wrought iron decorated twin beds, in typical Tuscan style. There is one bathroom equipped with shower and the second one equipped with a bathtub, both of them have WC, sink and bidet.
The villa is located inside an olive oil producing farm, which is a great opportunity to see how the extra virgin olive oil is made and even better, taste it! The villa offers maid service, a cook service and baby sitting upon request. The owner will be glad to let you use internet and fax services in his own house. Pets are welcome. Bikes are available on site. The owners will be glad to inform you about the surrounding area and local activities like horseback riding, golf and tennis.
