This charming freestanding villa is located on the top of a gentle Tuscan hill with stunning views, immersed in a producing winery and olive oil farm. The villa offers accommodation for 4 up to 6 people in a cosy and welcoming environment, furnished with taste in the typical Tuscan style.
Recently restored to the highest standards, this villa is composed of two floors. On the ground floor, the main door from the garden opens to the comfortable living room, with large French doors, open fireplace, TV , sofas and armchairs. On a wide and light open space, are located the dining area and the kitchen, fully equipped with all necessary appliances to prepare delicious Tuscan meals: stove, oven, double stainless steel sink, refrigerator with freezer and all necessary cook ware and table ware.
On the first floor are located two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a delightful double canopy bed made of wrought iron, a typical Tuscan handicraft. The other pieces of furniture are antiques and match perfectly with the original “terracotta” floor and wooden beamed ceiling. The second bedroom has twin beds, both made of wrought iron with delicate design.
Bed sheets, bedspreads and curtains are of high quality and tastefully arranged. The furniture follows the classic style of the villa with original wooden dresser, chairs and bedside tables. Each bedroom has its own private fully equipped bathroom, both with WC, bidet, sink and shower box. Two extra beds can be added upon request.
The villa is surrounded by a private and green lush garden, equipped for outdoor meals, with tables, chairs and barbecue.
The villa is surrounded by the local vineyards and olive groves, offering the best of Tuscan atmosphere. You will be able to taste their local products, specially the quality wine of Montemurlo, and visit their wine cellars. Besides, it is possible to make many strolls among the vineyards, olive groves and woods because the property is totally fenced in and safe. It has been for many years a hunting reserve, and hides the stunning old monastery that belongs to the winery. Another attraction is certainly the close by a medieval hamlet, distant only 2 km from the villa.
At the reception you will have all necessary information on how to explore the area, and any kind of extra services can be arranged upon request. Day-trips into Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Siena, Volterra and many other important cities in Tuscany can be easily made by car. A day at the Tuscan sandy beaches is also an alternative, as long as the coast is distant only a little more than 20 km. For the sportive ones, two golf courses stay within easy drive: Castelfalfi and Tirrenia.
