Immersed in a stunning winery among the Pisan hills, the villa is an original farmhouse, part of a complex of villas that compose this outstanding estate. The position is perfect, on the top of a hill overlooking the ancient Monastery which belongs to the winery and its impressive bell tower. Only 500 meters from the villa, the old Monastery holds now the offices and buildings of the winery.
The villa shares with the cottage Vigna a very large swimming pool, surrounded by a wide solarium fully equipped for sunbathing with gazebos, sun loungers, tables and chairs. Completely surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and woods, each house has its own privacy and if rented together can accommodate celebrations, parties, family reunions and weddings, with enough room for up to 18 people.
The villa offers a total of 8 bedrooms, each one with its own private en-suite bathroom, accommodating 14 people. Extra beds can be added upon request. All bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the first floor while the ground floor is composed by a large living – dining room with an open fireplace and a fully equipped professional kitchen. The villa is ideal to host the most different kinds of events; the villa owner can offer catering and other services upon request.
Each bedroom is equipped with individual air-conditioning and SAT TV. Each bathroom is fully equipped with a bathtub or a shower box, WC, sink and bidet. The bedrooms are all spacious, illuminated and furnished with comfortable wrought iron beds in typical Tuscan style, new mattresses, quality linen and fabrics. Many wardrobes, chairs and dressers are restored wooden pieces respecting the local traditions.
The private garden that surrounds the villa offer full garden furniture, specially a large table where the whole group can have meals together al fresco, ideal for a barbecue party, as long as there is a private large barbecue structure with pizza oven available. Either inside the dining room there is a large table for group formal meals.
Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom and the twin bedrooms can be joined upon request to make a double bed according to your needs. Three extra beds can be added in the villa upon request with extra charge. The villa is fully staffed and can organize full service according to your needs, like daily breakfast, lunch or dinner, daily cleaning, or this can be arranged once in a while. The services must be ordered in advance and will be paid extra directly on site.
The estate holds also the villas Angelina, Antico Forno, Casale Sughero and Vigna. The three first ones have their own private swimming pools and garden with total privacy guaranteed. Vigna is a cottage located a short distance from the villa and can match perfectly with it as dependence, as long as both share the large swimming pool. The whole complex is a stunning venue for all kinds of events, ceremonies, family reunions from smaller to larger groups.
The Monastery – which is no longer a monastery but the offices and rooms of the winery – has wide rooms and spaces to organize weddings and parties for large groups, upon request. Besides, the property produces excellent Chianti wines and Supertuscans, which you will be able to taste. A wine tour can be organized directly on site with personalized wine tasting, lunch or dinner matched with their high quality wines. It is also possible to purchase directly their typical products.
Just 2 km away is a charming medieval village with all shops and services. The nearby village of Terriciola is famous for its wines. The villa has the perfect location for daytrips: the historical cities of Florence (50 km), Siena (67 km), [a:218:San Gimignano] (37 km), and Volterra (25 km) and Pisa (25 km) with its international airport are all within easy reach.
