The freestanding villa Red Lotus used to be a medieval country house of the Maremma, today it has been completely renewed and transformed in a beautiful holiday home. When you enter the house you are welcomed by a warm and comfortable atmosphere, the antique family furniture give to the house its own character and flair.
The villa offers plenty of spaces. On the ground floor there are the living areas. All the rooms have high beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. The kitchen and living area maintained its original stone walls. Because the walls are really thick, the temperature stays really cool during the summer. There is a heating system in the whole property.
On the ground floor there is a large living room with an open fire place and comfortable sofas, where you can watch TV or just chill with your family. Next to the living room there is the kitchen and the dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped: dishwasher, oven, sink, microwave, Italian and American coffee, toaster, large fridge and all pots and pans you will need. The dining area as an extendable table.
On the ground floor there is a large bedroom, suitable for wheel chair users.
On the first floor there are the other 3 bedrooms: 2 bedrooms with a double bed and 1 with 4 single beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The windows have mosquito nets.
You will notice that the owner has decorated the villa with passion and care for every single detail.
The outside area is as much beautiful. The villa is on top of a hill overlooking the valley. The garden is well groomed. There is enough space to park your cars.
The swimming pool is heated and very large 10 x 4 meters and 1,45 m deep. Here you will find sun beds and umbrellas.
There is a stone barbecue and pizza oven in the garden, just next to the covered terrace.
About 1 km from Red Lotus there are the other beautiful freestanding villas: White Lotus, Cecina Villa, Ricky and Louisa which can be combined if you are a larger group.
Red Lotus is only 15 km from the sandy beaches of Cecina and Bibbona. Here there are plenty of delicious restaurants on the beach. The next town is Casale Marittimo, a lovely medieval town on top of a hill. Bolgheri, a small wine town, well known for its particular wines, is only 4 km away.
